Our take
Aquatic turtles swim, but they also have to haul out and dry off completely under heat and UVB, or their shells develop rot and their health slides. A basking platform gives them that dry land, and this one floats and self-levels so it works whatever the water level, with a submerged ramp the turtle climbs. Put a basking bulb and UVB over it. A turtle with nowhere to properly dry out is one of the commonest, and most preventable, turtle-keeping failures.
