Our take
Like cuttlebone, a mineral block gives a caged bird a source of the calcium and trace minerals a plain seed diet runs short on, in a harder pressed form that lasts longer. This one blends in oyster shell, minerals and a few seeds to make it appealing. It is a supplement, not a fix for a poor diet, and a bird eating a proper fortified food gets most of this already, but it is cheap enrichment and insurance.
