Repti Shelter Cave

A resin cave you fill with damp moss for a humid hide. Every reptile needs somewhere to disappear, and many need the humidity to shed.

Our take

A reptile with no hide is a stressed reptile, they are prey animals and need somewhere to feel invisible. This cave does double duty: pack the removable lid with damp moss or Eco Earth and it becomes a humid hide, which is exactly what a ball python or leopard gecko needs to shed cleanly, since a bad shed can cost a snake the tip of its tail or a toe. Give one on the warm side and one on the cool side so the animal never has to choose between hiding and thermoregulating.
