Our take
Live plants are the best filter a tank can have, soaking up the waste that would otherwise feed algae, but they need feeding too. Flourish supplies the trace elements and micronutrients aquarium plants run short of. It is a comprehensive supplement meant to sit alongside good light and, for demanding setups, root tabs and CO2. Dose it once or twice a week. A well-fed planted tank is genuinely easier to keep than a bare one, because the plants do half the work.
