Our take
Small pets love a treat, and it is a great way to build trust with a nervous rabbit or guinea pig, but most commercial treats are sugary, yoghurt-coated rubbish that upsets a fibre-tuned gut. These are baked from timothy hay and real fruit or veg with no added sugar or artificial anything, so they are about the safest packaged treat going. Still a treat, though: a piece or two a day, not a handful. Fresh herbs and a slice of veg do the same bonding job for free.
