Our take
Plenty of cats scratch down and forward rather than up, and cheap flat cardboard pads shred in a fortnight. PetFusion's is denser board glued piece by piece, so it lasts, curves into a lounger a cat will nap on, and flips over when one side wears down. It comes with catnip to get things started and, unlike most scratchers, it actually looks acceptable in a living room.
