Our take
Bearded dragons are omnivores whose diet shifts with age, more insects as babies, more greens as adults, and a good pellet is a handy, balanced part of that mix. This one is fortified with the vitamins and calcium a beardie needs and the correct protein-to-fibre balance. It does not replace the two things a dragon must have: live insects dusted with calcium, and a big pile of fresh greens, plus, non-negotiably, strong UVB lighting to use that calcium. The pellet is the easy quarter of the diet.
