Our take
Small birds benefit from time outside the cage as much as big parrots do, and a compact wooden gym gives a budgie or cockatiel a proper place to climb, perch and play near you. Ladders and perches at different heights encourage movement, and having a designated spot makes out-of-cage time tidier. Supervise it, and set it somewhere the bird cannot get into trouble.
